Word Birds founder Swan Sit and New York Times bestselling Dr. Seuss author Tish Rabe invite you to join the Word Birds, a group of friends who want to help children learn to read! We are crowd-funding to raise money to donate 10,000 copies of Tish's new book to children in underserved communities.
For the first time ever, we are crowd-funding Tish's latest rhyming storybook about the most famous park in the world: Central Park You Can See Is the Best Place to Be. Help make this book a reality and have your name printed in every copy, plus other perks!

You can buy as many Word Bird slots as you like - get one for each member of your family! Each slot can accommodate a name of up to 23 characters including spaces, letters, numbers and symbols only (no emojis). Names submitted are subject to final approval.
Funds raised will be used to help contribute to the production and first-run printing, which will include an additional 10,000 books to be gifted to children in underserved communities once the full $50,000 goal is reached. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
Your contribution is not an investment. There will be no return, the only compensation for the contribution will be the inclusion of the name of your choice in the book as is specified hereinabove. If the book is not published, your contribution will be returned.

Central Park You Can See is the Best Place to Be introduces the Squirrel Family, Mommy, Daddy and their kids Sunny, Skippy and Sky, who are excited to show everyone around the park they love. The book features beautiful illustrations by Italian artist Andrea Boatta, a sing-along song, and tips for everyone to learn how to take care of this world famous park. The Central Park Conservancy helped Tish by suggesting fun things to include in the book, and a special page thanks them for making it a special place that everyone around the world can enjoy.
