We are crowdfunding to raise money to donate FREE copies of Tish's new rhyming storybook, Central Park You Can See Is the Best Place to Be, to children in underserved communities.

Distribution: Copies of the book will be distributed by the New York City based LINC- Literacy in Community - to children in Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Staten Island, so they can learn to read and succeed in school and in life.

You can buy as many Word Bird slots as you like - get one for each member of your family!
Funds raised will be used to help contribute to the production and first-run printing, which will include books to be donated to children in underserved communities. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
Your contribution is not an investment. There will be no return, the only compensation for the contribution will be the inclusion of the name of your choice in the book as is specified hereinabove. If the book is not published, your contribution will be returned.

Central Park You Can See is the Best Place to Be introduces the Squirrel Family, Mommy, Daddy and their kids Sunny, Skippy and Sky, who are excited to show everyone around the park they love. The book features beautiful illustrations by Italian artist Andrea Boatta, a sing-along song, and tips for everyone to learn how to take care of this world famous park. The Central Park Conservancy helped Tish by suggesting fun things to include in the book, and a special page thanks them for making it a special place that everyone around the world can enjoy.
